Terms and Conditions *  The Guild must carry its own insurance, naming MPI and the Hurkey Creek Park as additional insured. and provide a copy to MPI. 
Guild members must be on the gate-list. Maximum of 20 Guild Members unless other arrangements are made and approved by MPI.  (See gate-list attached.) Only Gate-listed members may stay overnight in the encampment or tent city. 
Guild’s will be expected to participate in the daily progression, take a turn at the front gate to welcome our guests, and to engage our guests within their encampments to provide them with an enjoyable experience. 
I (we) have read and fully understand all pages of this application and freely and voluntarily agree to adhere to all the terms and conditions of this agreement. The Guild agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, defend, release, and forever discharge Mountaintop Productions Inc (MPI), Hurkey Creek Park, The County of Riverside, its officers, agents, employees, and any person or persons under its direction and control of its activities from any and all claims, causes of action and liability arising from or in any way connected to participation in this event. 
The Guildmaster/person in charge, is responsible for all their members. You are responsible for making sure they are informed about all Faire policies. (Ignorance is not an excuse, i.e. I didn’t know, no one told me, etc.) Mountaintop Productions Inc (MPI) and the County Rangers shall have final say on items that may arise that require clarification or action. 
       Wristbands - All members of your guild will be required to wear their assigned wristbands while on the Faire grounds during all hours. These wristbands may be worn on their ankles or belts and must be presented to the security staff when asked. Anyone not wearing their wristband, and not on the guild gate-list, will be escorted to the front gate and be given an opportunity to purchase a regular ticket. 
       Absolutely No Smoking/Vaping except in clearly marked and designated smoking areas.  
Fire - Propane fires may be allowed in approved areas only. The local Fire Marshall has final say over all fire issues. Absolutely no charcoal, wood or white gas fires will be allowed. A current, certified 2A10BC or better fire extinguisher will be required at all encampments. 
Black Powder - Will only be allowed if approved by the local Fire Marshall and the county. A separate application will be required.  
       All weapons must be inspected by our security team prior to entering the Faire site. Weapons shall be “peace-tied”, sheathed and secured at all times. Anyone brandishing or threatening with a weapon will be immediately expelled from the Faire site without any reimbursement. Our security team will determine what constitutes a weapon and whether it is secured adequately. Their decision is final.  
Under no circumstances are illegal controlled substances to be allowed on the Faire site. Anyone with these items in their possession, while on the Faire site, will be subject to immediate expulsion and/or arrest. 
Minors under the age of twenty-one (21) are prohibited from consuming, handling or purchasing alcoholic beverages. 
Drunkenness, unruly or out of control behavior will result in immediate expulsion from the Faire site. 
Vehicles - Only one vehicle/trailer per encampment will be allowed on the field at a time, during the designated load-in & load-out times. Each vehicle must be accompanied by a person from the encampment walking along with the vehicle to provide “on the ground” visibility. The vehicle must be immediately unloaded and moved to the designated parking area before setting up. Absolutely no vehicle radios are to be played, most folks want to get into the mood. (Refer to the Load-In/Load-Out package you will receive once you are approved.) 
Parking - All participant parking will be designated by MPI for the Faire participants. You are on your own if you choose to park elsewhere. Designated parking will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Handicapped parking will be available to those with a state placard. You will be given a parking pass when you check-in and it must be filled out and displayed on your dashboard. 
Trash - If you bring it in with you, take it back out with you. MPI will provide daily trash pickup of the trash receptacles for day to day trash. You are responsible for any large volume of trash your encampment generates. See MPI to make arrangements before hand. If you do not leave your site clean you will be billed for cleanup. (Refer to the Load-In/Load-Out package you will receive once you are approved.) 
Participant Entrance - All participants must enter the Faire at the designated gate. All participants must be on the grounds and setup by the 10:00 AM opening, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Faire staff. All children/minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian/guild member at all times. The guild is responsible for the conduct of their children/minors. 
Encampments - Please keep at least one guild member in your encampment at all times. Keep your encampment clean and organized and in character. Do not enter any other encampment without permission of the guild or touch or disturb others property without their permission. Only gate-listed members of your Guild may remain in your encampment after the Faire closes for the day. Quiet time is 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Absolutely no loud noises will be tolerated. Absolutely no radios, portable televisions, electronic noise makers will be allowed. 
Etiquette - Please interact with the guests; however, do not use profanity, do not allow any member of your group to touch or harass the guests. When performances are in progress do not join in without being asked. Do not interrupt a performance unless there is a real emergency. Do not distract guests who are engaged in another’s performance. 
Meet and Greet - We ask that the members of your group volunteer for at least (1), one hour shift at the front gate to meet and greet our guests, each day. This is an opportunity to set the tone and expectations for our Faire. 
Progressions, Battles. performances & “gigs” - Will be scheduled by the Guild Director. Please let us know what events you would be willing to participate in or would be willing to organize. 
Utilities - Drinking water is available from taps on the Faire grounds. No cleaning at the taps will be allowed. No electricity is available except to some of the food vendors. Generators may be allowed up to the quiet time. A limited amount of ice will be available by appointment with MPI Kitchen Crew. No power augers are allowed. No tools will be available. Regular toilet facilities in addition to porta-potties will be available for the general public, as well as for guild members. Hot showers will be available for guild members after Faire closes to the public. Keep these areas clean! 
Guild members consent to the use of their names, pictures, images, recorded voice or music, and those of crew members and agents of the Faire, its assignments and licenses in connection with the Faire events and without inspection for such purposes as commercial or promotional usage. 
All facilities, materials, supplies, and equipment that belongs to MPI or the venue, used by the Guild members, shall be maintained and cared for so as to be returned in a clean, usable condition upon the conclusion of the event. Failure to do so may result in a maintenance fee of $75 per hour and the cost of repairing or replacing the items. The participants will be required to reimburse MPI and the venue for any and all repairs or damages to any venue facility which occurred during the event, and/or which were caused by the direct action or inaction of the participants. Participants are to notify MPI immediately of any damaged or unsafe items prior to its use. 
In order to provide a pleasant and trouble-free event, any questions, concerns or comments must be submitted in writing via email to: Guild@MountaintopProductions.org prior to submitting this form, in order for us to address these issues. Last minute issues or issues not handled prior to the event will necessarily be handled as MPI see fit. All decisions and directions given by MPI are final.
